Preparation:
- Secure the chicken gently but firmly
- Sterilize a toothpick or fine metal needle with alcohol
Installation Steps:
- Locate the nasal septum (between nostrils)
- Pierce through the nasal cartilage completely
- Insert the right pin of the glasses through the nostril
- Guide the left pin through the opposite nostril
- Ensure the lenses sit comfortably before the bird
Aftercare:
- Monitor birds for 24 hours post-installation
- Clean any minor bleeding with alcohol swabs
- Check periodically for proper fit as birds grow
